Field Trips

Wendy and I wanted to test our strength and conditioning level by doing the Grad Workout, Designed by Senior RKC Kenneth Jay, that takes place at the Russian Kettlebell Challenge. The Grad Workout alternates 20 sec of walking seesaw presses with two kettlebells, 10 sec of rest / setting up for swings, 20 sec of swings with one kettlebell, 10 sec of rest / setting up for presses and so on for 120 yards, or the length of a football field.

 

We didn't think it would be much fun doing it alone and since our classes had been working their presses using the ladder training method, we felt they were definitely ready.
